I’ve really wanted Birkenstock sandals for a long time, but their insoles aren’t removable. I have drop foot, and my prescription orthotics enable me to walk without an AFO brace. I found these in an internet article, and I saw that Amazon had them on sale. They are real leather uppers, which always means fewer blisters and longer wear.They aren’t as cute as Birkenstocks, but they’re not hideous. I’m so happy to have a pair of sandals.Their insoles have Velcro, so you have to pry them out. I had to trim my orthotics a little in the toe to fit. When I take them off, I have to hold the orthotics in with one toe or they slip out. I’d rather do that than put Velcro on them and have to pry them out of the shoes I put them in.If you can’t wear Birkenstocks, these are a cheaper looking and costing substitute. I’m very pleased with them.
